Awesome! Do you happen to have a non-youtube'ified version lying around. It's hard to see what is compression artifacts, and what is progressive rendering artifacts.

Indeed very interesting! Don't think it's old news per-se, but just hasn't been advertised very much, oddly enough, since I guess it could be a "solution" for the NVIDIA QMC patent mess.

You say that you have implemented it in OpenCL and CUDA, why both ? Do you have encounter some performance difference between CUDA and OpenCL ? Have you been able to use the HLBVH on the CPU too ?
