Yes, I know it not for today games, but main reason is you must provide good picture on middle\low hardware as well, physics and other processing can be negligible for some game types. Yes, I know that SLG has been developed for off-line rendering, and I point at two main disadvantages SLG for games. But in common, I believe it have almost same performance as Brigade. As I see, luxrays project improved are lot, SmallluxGPU and SmallptGPU has been merged and it`s doing not only BVH intersects on GPU. On my GTX680 it shows 6-9M rays\sec on LUXBALL scene, which already enough to do realtime and not look so noisy if we calibrate materials right. Some things missing f...

Another advantage of OpenCL is that it can run not only on Nvidia devices.
In some cases OpenGL shader can be used.
This two variants more portable.

Seems not working on GTX 680 as well (uses only CPU and performance is slow, seems same as GTX 590 problem). Dig around the problem I`ve found that it can be because of pre-compiled Cuda code. In documentation Nvidia says that this way of loading binary kernels may not work on future GPU`s and SDK`s...
