Take a look at this video for realtime PCB rendering with Octane:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52YE5wUYLKA (start at the 5:00 mark)
The video is from 2010 and was rendered with a GTX260, it should be about 8x faster on a GTX Titan X.

Re: giga rays on intel phi
Looks like Whitted ray tracing, not even ao. Are you sure this quality is still relevant today?

Re: NVIDIA Kepler real-time raytracing demo at GTC 2012
I was mostly impressed by the dynamic ray tracing acceleration structure they're using which allows for hundreds of shattered glass pieces and thousands of water particles updated in real-time. Could this be the famous HLBVH2 technique?

Re: Some voxel tracing
That's a pretty cool image. How does it relate to animated voxels? And are you using DX11 or CUDA for voxel raytracing?

Re: Reflect / Brigade2
Great video and image quality compared to the previous Reflect version. The MIS seems to work its magic :D The swinging lights casting soft shadows are a very cool effect, as well as the multiple refractions in the room with the glass tubes. When you enter the room with the spikepit (0:57), initiall...

Re: Dissapointing building times from lbvh gpu based builder
At the same time, I had to release voxelpipe, which in a way is a lot more interesting as it shows a far more complex pipeline running entirely in sw on the GPU. And then now that real-time ray tracing is a solved problem (thanks to Kirill), there are plenty of other interesting things in my todo l...

Re: Official Brigade website
Cool website. I've been messing around with the Brigade code for the past weeks and it's just too much fun. It's also quite capable of rendering complex scenes such as this one: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NZrL2eXRc3w/TwRLTvR-16I/AAAAAAAABp0/1BRrSls70XU/s1600/B2bedroom5.png Video of this scene or try ...
