Recently a friend of mine and I implemented a basic CUDA Pathtracer, and we had some fun/interesting looking glitched renders along the way:

Having meant to join this forum for a while, this glitch looks like a good reason:
(You may need to right-click and view image to see the entire images)
My first stab at Kelemen-style Metropolis:

Statistically correct (I think) reference made with normal importance-sampled PT and similar time:

I think the contrast enhancement gives it a peculiar style, but the stars/speckles are annoying. Looks like old samples are splatting into new sample's coordinates, among other things.
