Hello, good to be back.. Hope we can extract as much data from the old page as possible..
Re: Welcome!
Really glad to see the old community trickling back in!
I'm a long time lurker but have recently started working on my own raytracing/photon mapping engine. Just wanted to say thinks to all of you who have contributed so much throughout the years. Hopefully we can get a lot of the community and the knowledge back.

The knowledge will come with the people in the community, so everybody please spread the word!nhm wrote:Hopefully we can get a lot of the community and the knowledge back.

Any plan to use a easier to remember name than http://igad2.nhtv.nl/ompf2/index.php ? I have always to go throw Ray Tracey's blog to access this board

rule nr 1 of browsers: they have favourites. no need to remember.Dade wrote:Any plan to use a easier to remember name than http://igad2.nhtv.nl/ompf2/index.php ? I have always to go throw Ray Tracey's blog to access this board
but yes, i sure hope they register ompf.net (as written in the title on top) or something.. if ompf.org stays gone
Re: Welcome!
I would definitely like that, but as you said: let's wait until we are sure ompf.org is gone. It would stil be the best option if tbp returned; I would probably ask him urgently for a copy of the database though.
